  1. The only info I can find is that ZZ Top Deguello was released in November ’79, with no specific date. If anyone can provide a source for an August 27, 1979 date, I would appreciate it.

    • Scott: One of several dilemma entries in my Album DB. Degüello shows in Wikipedia as 11/8/1979. In Discogs the 8-track release is 11/8/1979. In MusicBrainz the vinyl LP is 8/27/1979. The official ZZ Top web site’s click-through to Amazon shows 8/27/1979. The same click-through to Apple Music shows 11/1/1979. In 45cat the listing is just 11/1979. AllMusic is just 1979. So I decided that the 8-track date in Discogs is not the vinyl date, and someone entered this in Wikipedia. My gut feeling is that MusicBrainz is the one. Wrong? Maybe. Got anything better? Cheers to you, Dr. Rock
