Depeche Mode’s ‘Some Great Reward’ was released on September 24th, 1984, not August 27th, 1984.
SMM:
My usual sources of album data are inconsistent. Wikipedia does say Some Great Reward was released on 9/24/1984, but does not specify US or UK. MusicBrainz shows 9/24/1984 in the UK on Mute Records, and 10/29/1984 on Sire in the US. Last.fm shows 9/24/1984, with no country. AllMusic says 9/24/1984 on Sire but does specify country. And 45Cat lists 9/1984 on Mute in the UK and 10/84 in the US on Sire. Discogs lists year only.
So, I am going to amend my database to show 9/24/84 in UK on Mute and 10/29/1984 in US on Sire.
Thanks for the point-out!
Cheers, Dr. Rock
